Planning Applications

The Parish Council is a statutory consultee on planning issues affecting the Civil Parish of Middleton.

Planning issues are discussed at our regular monthly meetings. Details of the meetings are shown in the Council Calendar. The agenda shows applications that will be considered at a particular meeting. If an application is not on the agenda, a recommendation to the Planning Authority cannot be made by the Parish Council.

Members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings to give their views on planning matters in the Public Speaking section of the meeting, but please remember that it is Derbyshire Dales District Council or (for strategic matters) Derbyshire County Council who decide the outcome, not the Parish Council.

If you wish to speak at our meetings, please note that pre-booking is not required and individual representations should be no longer than three minutes in length.

Planning Applications may be viewed at the Derbyshire Dales District Council Planning Portal.

Derbyshire County Council applications may be viewed here.
