Traveller Sites Consultation 2024

As you may be aware, Derbyshire Dales District Council has launched a consultation on use of a series of council owned sites to be used as a temporary site/s for Gypsies and Travellers. Those sites are:

• Car Park, Old Station Close, Rowsley;
• Land to South East of Hopton Works, Middleton Road, Wirksworth;
• Arc Leisure Car Parks, Morledge, Darley Dale;
• Station Yard Car Park, Dale Road, Matlock Bath;
• Car Park, Derwent Way, Matlock;
• Land to North West of Cemetery, New Road, Middleton.

Residents are encouraged to complete the consultation survey to ensure their views are heard and considered. The Consultation closes on 22nd September 2024.
